Name :

City : Tokyo

Country : Japan

Continent : Asia

About Me : I am a Nigerian, an America, an Igbo woman, and yet a Japan lover.

Challenge Faced : Could you guess my favorite Asian country as of now? I have been to Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, and I feel like I am missing one. I really enjoy all these countries, but I felt the one Asian country I could live in was Japan. I do not know if it is because of how much I love the language (the staccato) or how sophisticated its people are, or my love for the near-perfection of their infrastructure, or that I made close friends there quickly. I do not know but I what do know is that I did not plan to fall in love with it. I went to Japan always for work, and used the weekends to explore the cities/country. I visited Shinsabashi, Yokoyama, different temples, and most importantly, got to lodge at the beautiful Swissotel hotel in Tokyo. Here, I enjoyed great food, great customer service and proximity to the rail service. One of my best friends now lives in Japan, unfortunately too far from Tokyo, but she agrees that touring Japan has been one of the highlights of her stay. I have not been to Japan in over 3 years. I am counting down to the day when I get to visit again.

How I Overcame : Walking the streets and temples of Japan

What single advice would you like to give women? : Learn where you find and feel peace, go to these places when your mind feels most chaotic. I pray it continues to fill you with peace.
